The Healthy West Orange grassroots movement encourages residents to eat well, stay active, and enjoy life. Known for its challenges throughout the year, the team recently wrapped up another Healthy Selfie Photo Contest and 5K run.

This fall, more than 2,000 students from 20 elementary schools will lace up their sneakers to participate in our Westly’s Mile program.

If you’ve recently visited the Healthy West Orange Building, you may have noticed new hardware near the front door. We’re excited to share that we’ve opened a new and first free-standing HUBB Direct location, bringing the total to four within the West Orange community.

We were thrilled to participate in the second annual “Take Over the Trails Day” as part of The Healthy West Orange Trails Connection (HWOTC)

As we kick off Volunteer Appreciation Month, we want to recognize two women on our board of directors who are fierce advocates for the health and wellness of our community – Bernadette Spong and Kari Vargas.

At the top of each year, Healthy West Orange organizes a month-long campaign to encourage our community to get moving through Westly’s Annual 5K.

On Jan. 24, we joined Orlando Health, the city of Ocoee, and numerous community partners for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate a new Wellness Walking Path at Orlando Health -- Health Central Hospital!

Early this year, we were honored to join the the West Orange Chamber of Commerce (WOCC) as a trustee.
