Enhancing Our Physical Environment

Engaging in outdoor activities like walking, biking, or playing offers significant physical and mental benefits. Studies show that simply being in green spaces can make us feel better. By enhancing existing green spaces and adding more ways for people to enjoy them, we help foster healthier lifestyles in our community.

Healthy West Orange Building

The Healthy West Orange Building is home to the Foundation for a Healthier West Orange, our flagship HUBB resource center and five leased suites for local organizations – many of which are dedicated to elevating the health and wellness of our community.

The 23,000 square-foot multi-purpose office and community space fuels the mission in multiple ways:

  • Community building: West Orange County residents can access health and wellness classes, support groups, information, resources and referrals, all in a single location.
  • Capacity building: Local nonprofits and organizations can leverage the Healthy West Orange Grove meeting room for events and mission expansion.
  • Social enterprise: Tenant lease income preserves the building for the long-term sustainability that benefits the community into the future.
